SOBRE A RÁDIO
Jazz Wave" (Джазова хвиля) is a modern Ukrainian jazz radio station founded at the initiative of Ukrainian jazz pianist Usein Bekirov. Ukrainian jazz bassist Igor Zakus also joined the project implementation.
The goal of Jazz Wave is to support, popularize, and develop Ukrainian jazz, as well as to create a space where Ukrainian jazz music sounds constantly, openly, and without borders.
On the air of Jazz Wave, modern Ukrainian jazz is broadcast in all its diversity—from original music and jazz improvisations to fusion, ethno-jazz, jazz interpretations of Ukrainian music, and other genres in which Ukrainian jazz lives and develops.
