Calm Radio’s Binaural Sleep Series is based on the science of binaural sound frequencies and their ability to promote deceleration of breathing cadence and corresponding heart rate. Butterfly Dreams is a 3 hour long format binaural sound journey that opens with a 2 minute Beta Reduction Phase designed help slow down your breathing, relax the mind and allow your body to remain in its most calmest Delta state possible. Binaural beats use sub-hearing frequencies that pulse slowly in a bottom layer of the music track. For instance, 0.1 to 4 Hertz (Delta), 4 to 7 hertz (Theta), 7 to 13 hertz (Alpha) and 13 to 30 hertz (Beta). If possible, it is recommended to use headphones for maximum benefit when listening to binaural audio for fuller effect.
