ABOUT THIS STATION
Radio Vanakkam was created with one simple mission: to keep the Tamil heartbeat alive—through music, voices, and stories that feel like home. Built in Dallas and broadcast proudly on 104.9 HD2, we’re here to connect Tamilians across the U.S. and around the world with the sound of our culture.
What truly makes Radio Vanakkam special is our people. Our talented Radio Jockeys are live 24/7, bringing energy, warmth, and real connection to every show. Along with our music curators, they work round the clock to create a listening experience that’s entertaining, meaningful, and community-driven—whether it’s music, conversations, shoutouts, or cultural moments that matter to you.
No matter where you’re listening from—Chennai, Toronto, Singapore, London, or right here in Texas—Radio Vanakkam is your daily companion and your direct link to Tamil music, culture, and community.
