ABOUT THIS STATION
Max goes deeper into the chart to play a broader mix of the songs that made the 80s. Your host on Max is the voice of actor Louise Jameson (EastEnders, Tenko, Doctor Who) who appears regularly to jog eighties memories with thoughts and features.
They include songs from a featured Classic Album each week; 20/20 Eighties Trivia to keep you guessing; and games to play along with like the Telly-gram and the fiendish chart guessing game Maxematics. Alongside Human League, you'll hear Waterfront. Next to Dead or Alive, It's Immaterial. Madonna rubbing shoulders with Basia. And plenty of North East artists too from Prefab Sprout, Sting, Kane Gang, Pet Shop Boys, Bryan Ferry and Chris Rea.
